Angela L. Studer


Angela L. Studer is a native of the metro Atlanta area. She received a Bachelor's degree in Art from Agnes Scott College in 1989. She returned to school and graduated cum laude with her Bachelor’s of Nursing from Emory University in 1995. At Emory, Angela served as president of her class, was the chairperson of the orientation and mentor committees and was a liaison to the curriculum committee. Her work on raising the self-esteem of adolescents was awarded the Dean's Project Funding.

Angela went on to work in such fields as labor and delivery, plastic surgery and rehabilitation serving in various leadership positions such as charge nurse and nursing supervisor. After several years in intensive care units, Angela has gone on to pursue a Master’s of Science in Nursing. She is currently attending Carolinas HealthCare System's Nurse Anesthesia Program through the University of North Carolina in Charlotte, where she has maintained a 4.0 average.

Angela continues to pursue her interest in academic writing and nursing theory. She has recently published an article entitled "Bringing Your Highest Frequency To The Practice Of Nursing" in the peer-reviewed, scholarly journal Visions. She is currently working on a Capstone project regarding hypnotherapy as an adjunct to anesthesia.
