Alisa Pascale, winner of the Eleanor Lambertsen award, is a certified women’s health practitioner who spent the first 2 years of her NP career living and working in Cuba, New Mexico, with the Navajo Native Americans. Today she is practicing at Vincent Gynecology at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. She has over 15 years experience in women’s health with much of it sub-specializing in the care of women with chronic vulvo-vaginal diseases such as vulvar skin conditions, recurrent vaginitis and vulvar pain disorders. In 2011, with her extensive background in this area, Alisa helped the GYN practice at MGH start its own small Vulvar and Vaginal Disease Clinic and is exploring ways to expand the clinic so they can offer care to greater number of patients. She enjoys lecturing and teaching about vulvar gynecology as well as precepting NP students as she continues working towards her DNP degree. She’s doing all this while she and her husband raise a young daughter.
