Rebecca R. Eddy, MBA, PDMM, co-founder and president of Eddy & Schein Group., has over thirty years' experience as a financial organizer/daily money manager for seniors and high net worth individuals. The company focuses on managing and coordinating clients’ personal, financial, legal and insurance matters and acting as a liaison with trusted advisors. They pride themselves on the financial calm they provide their clients. The company covers the New York tri-state area.

Rebecca’s prior work ranged from running not-for-profit programs for middle school children, out-of-work people, women prisoners preparing for release, and an East Harlem neighborhood, to being part of a team in the corporate department of Moody’s Investors Service. She has also served as treasurer for a variety of family trusts and not-for-profit boards. Her most recent board service was for Savvy Ladies which brings financial planning education to women.

Rebecca has been a leader in raising public awareness about preparing for the later years, with everything in place for enjoyment and peace of mind. She blogs regularly and has been a speaker at national conferences and has led numerous workshops and webinars training others in her field. She has been published in the New York State Bar Association Elder Law Section newsletter, several National Association of Professional Organizers newsletters, and most recently in How to Hire a Caregiver for Your Senior, a book written by Guy Maddalone.

Rebecca is the founding president of the Greater New York Chapter of the American Association of Daily Money Managers, serving for five years, and is one of the first Certified Daily Money Managers (CDMM®) to be certified in New York City. She got her BA from Kirkland College (sister to Hamilton College) and has an MBA from the Yale School of Management.

She joined the NEF Board in April 2018.
