Scholar Success Stories

As a Master's scholarship winner for 2010-2011, it is my distinct pleasure to share with you that I have been selected for the NYU 2010-2011 College of Nursing Master's Overall Distinguished Student. This honor is bestowed upon students with leadership skills and service activities.  I have also been named as Distinguished Master's/Graduate Student in Palliative Care! 

In addition, I have been accepted to the Florence S. Downs PhD Program in Nursing Research and Theory Development at NYU as well as the DNS program at The Graduate Center at CUNY. The CUNY program has  offered me a Jonas scholarship. Jonas scholars  are part of a national program through Mr and Mrs Jonas to prepare research doctorate nurses.  Upon acceptance, I would be part of the CUNY Jonas Scholar group of 5 students as well as the national group.

This is a very exciting time for me and I wanted to take a moment to acknowledge the financial support you have given me as I completed my Master's program.
