Why contribute to NEF?

The mission of Nurses Educational Funds, Inc. is to advance the profession of nursing through the promotion of graduate education. To this end, NEF provides financial assistance in the form of scholarships to individuals who demonstrate academic and leadership potential to promote effective nursing and health care services through advanced practice and through the generation and dissemination of knowledge.

NEF prides itself as one of the few national sources for nursing education aide in the U.S. Since it does not cater to one school or any particular region within America, NEF's awardees represent an incredibly divers group of students. Over the past five years NEF has awarded over $300,00 to 90 awardees representing 31 states.

• NEF's only purpose is to provide scholarship assistance to make advanced nursing education possible.
• NEF currently awards $100k annually to graduate nursing students. Our campaign goal of $3 million will allow us to double the amount of scholarship money we award.
• NEF is the largest single, private, professionally endorsed source of funds for advanced study in nursing with over ninety years of services to the profession.
